Aldebaran’s official Calgary pages distinguish its South Calgary custom-home example from Legend of Legacy, which is explicitly marked sold out. The South Calgary page describes a home with a rooftop level, elevator and garage features. Those published design references do not establish a current unit roster, an available custom commission or included features in another home.

Search MLS® listings naming Aldebaran Homes

The search identifies builders from listing remarks. It can include recently built resales and does not include every off-MLS builder home. Confirm who is selling, whether the home is new, its source date and the actual possession terms.

Read a multi-level design as a daily route through the home

If a rooftop space or elevator attracts you to a portfolio example, look beyond the elevation. Trace how groceries, laundry, guests and outdoor furniture move between levels on the actual plan. Ask what equipment is included, the space it occupies and what maintenance access the design provides. Check which rooms connect directly to outdoor space and where a future layout change would be feasible. A sold-out townhome collection and a one-off custom home are different comparisons. Establish which property or proposed build is under discussion before using either as a reference for price, ownership or ongoing responsibilities.

Questions for the written comparison

• Is the reference a completed example, a sold-out collection or an actual purchase opportunity?
• Which elevator, rooftop, garage and access features appear in the priced specification?
• How does the proposed plan handle the everyday movement of people and household items?

Compare the full cost and the specific home

Put two to four actual homes or written offers into the full-cost comparison worksheet. Record the lot, specification, selected options, stated GST and rebate treatment, deposit milestones, recurring charges and completion items. A sample quote or model page does not reserve a home or confirm an incentive.
