Confirm the designation and specification of the actual unit being offered.

Search MLS® listings naming Avalon Master Builder

The search identifies builders from listing remarks. It can include recently built resales and does not include every off-MLS builder home. Confirm who is selling, whether the home is new, its source date and the actual possession terms.

Ask for the unit’s designation and included equipment

A project-wide energy description should lead to home-specific questions. Ask Avalon which designation applies to the selected unit, what documentation will confirm it and which equipment is included in the agreement. Do not carry a label or a feature from another ZEN project into the comparison without that check. Next, compare the townhome’s floor arrangement, private outdoor space, parking and storage, together with the ownership and maintenance documents. If equipment serves several units or areas, ask how responsibility is documented. A general efficiency statement does not establish an individual household’s utility bill, financing result or future resale value.

Questions for the written comparison

• Which exact designation and supporting documentation apply to the unit being offered?
• What energy-related equipment is included and how are maintenance responsibilities documented?
• Which ownership, parking, storage and exterior-space rights apply to this townhome?

Compare the full cost and the specific home

Put two to four actual homes or written offers into the full-cost comparison worksheet. Record the lot, specification, selected options, stated GST and rebate treatment, deposit milestones, recurring charges and completion items. A sample quote or model page does not reserve a home or confirm an incentive.
