Moon’s official site advertises Calgary custom-home work. Its community page announces Cochrane for summer 2027, which is a future announcement rather than a verified current home collection. If Cochrane is your preferred location, first establish whether the discussion concerns a proposed service, an identified development or a specific property with documents you can review.

The search identifies builders from listing remarks. It can include recently built resales and does not include every off-MLS builder home. Confirm who is selling, whether the home is new, its source date and the actual possession terms.
Separate a future-market announcement from a purchase opportunity
A future community announcement is a reason to ask for information, not enough to plan a move around. For Moon’s Cochrane announcement, ask what has been identified: municipality, project, ownership arrangement, release stage and the next decision date. If those are still open, keep a separate shortlist of documented alternatives for your required move window. For a Calgary custom proposal, ask for the same project-specific clarity around site, design scope and construction responsibilities. Compare the plans and written terms available now rather than treating an announced date as a contractual completion promise. Record the date of any update so an old announcement does not silently become your planning assumption.
