Green Cedar’s official community collection includes Chestermere and Cochrane projects such as South Shore, Waterford, Kinniburgh South, Greystone and Pinnacle Estates at Sunset Ridge. It also advertises Calgary homebuilding services. Goldwyn in Balzac and projects in Langdon are outside the five target municipalities and are not relabelled Calgary-city developments here.

Search MLS® listings naming Green Cedar Homes

The search identifies builders from listing remarks. It can include recently built resales and does not include every off-MLS builder home. Confirm who is selling, whether the home is new, its source date and the actual possession terms.

Check how the design fits the selected lot

A Green Cedar comparison can involve a standard plan, an estate collection or a more customized design. Start with the actual lot and site drawing so the garage, outdoor space and building orientation are clear. Features that work in one community may be affected by a different lot width, grade or architectural requirements elsewhere. Ask which layout changes are available, which need a revised design and which are already included in the quote. Compare the finish schedule and allowances as carefully as the floor plan. If outdoor living or a particular view matters, identify what the proposed home and its orientation provide rather than assuming that community photographs describe every lot.

Questions for the written comparison

• How does the proposed design fit this lot’s dimensions and grade?
• Which changes are included and which require a revised design or allowance?
• What outdoor space and orientation are shown on the actual site plan?

Compare the full cost and the specific home

Put two to four actual homes or written offers into the full-cost comparison worksheet. Record the lot, specification, selected options, stated GST and rebate treatment, deposit milestones, recurring charges and completion items. A sample quote or model page does not reserve a home or confirm an incentive.
